Privacy policy

This policy applies to Big Corkboard at bigcorkboard.com and to the Big Corkboard pages on this website. Big Corkboard is published by Ethan Dixius.

Big Corkboard does not ask you to create an account. Notes, clusters, and board layout are saved in your browser’s local storage on that device. They are not uploaded, and there is no server copy.

File → Export workspace… downloads a .corkboard file to your computer. That file stays wherever you save it. Importing a workspace replaces the boards in that browser after you confirm.

These pages and bigcorkboard.com do not use analytics or advertising cookies. Both are hosted on Vercel, which may process ordinary server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the sites. Those logs are not used to identify you or to advertise to you. Loading the app does not send the contents of your boards.

If you email support@bigcorkboard.com, the message includes whatever you choose to send, such as your email address, browser details, and a description of the issue. I use that information only to reply and to troubleshoot Big Corkboard. You can ask me to delete a support email.

I do not sell personal information, and I do not share it with advertisers. I will disclose information only if required by law, or if you ask me to.

Big Corkboard is a general-audience app. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Optional cloud sync is not part of the app today. If that changes, this policy will change with it.
